Running The Seventh Guest on newer operating systems

Here is a DX player for the 7th Guest,

The 7th Guest

I found DirectX player that plays the game without the annoying pauses while moving.

Install the game in windows XP. Use the command prompt and you get there by going to start button-programs-accessories-command prompt.

Start up the command prompt. Put your 7th Guest disk into the CD drive.
Then type install.bat
The command prompt will run the install progam without flashing off fast.

The install disk is Disc #2. You can play the game with disk one.

Once the game is installed put the Beta player you downloaded into the game directory which by default is "ID".

Put disk #1 into the CD drive than run V32tng.exe.

Use Alt-enter tomake the game full screen.

To install:

* Extract the files to your 7th Guest directory
* Run v32tng.exe


Note:

To toggle between windowed/full screen modes
press both the ALT key and ENTER key at the same time
and release (ALT-ENTER).
